Diversity competency training

Our diversity competency training is structured around the principles of cultural similarities and benefits, plus differences and conflicts within organisations. The point of departure is the cultural energy that every individual possesses in a particular organisation.

It is and remains a conscious choice to experience diversity as a social construct, which delivers added value. The use of  diversity competency  training methods is guided by a business case approach. An approach which looks at the various aspects of competency in communication and cooperation with positive results, in whatever sense, as the bottom line.

In cooperation with our clients we seek to retain the best practises, get rid of bad habits and build on the realisation of  sustainable development.

The participants at our transcultural competency training sessions could expect to receive among other things;

  • insight into one’s own knowledge of cultural bias, indifference, discrimination and racism;
  • more knowledge of the manner in which individuals carry  their own cultural baggage and interact with others in various settings;
  • experience how one could use the knowledge and the professional quality of the other in the framework of diversity to stimulate trust, respect and higher productivity;
  • receive tools pertaining to the effective interaction and the management of diversity;
  • receive tips regarding the daily practise of interaction within a framework associated with the managing of diversity.
